Community Health Programme is an effort to improve health status of present and future generation of the Country. This includes general health check up , super specialty health camps , provision of regular follow up as well as treatment and preventive health awareness programmes. It is a society centred program which covers all sections of the society irrespective of gender & age. SDCES runs several programs with the twin goals to prevent disease and provide access to medical care. Improving the health of children and mothers is a primary focus.
General Health Camps
General Health Camps is one such initiative of SDCES to provide healthcare services to meet the immediate health care needs of the marginalized community. Customized health camps are organized  – Gynecologist, Pediatric, Orthopodic, Eye Care etc. offering comprehensive health services – curative, diagnostics, preventive, promotive and referral, to a large number of people in selected intervention areas. Free medicines along with discount vouchers of hospital on various tests were provided in these camps. Further more, we also organize workshops & lectures from doctors on Adolescent health, nutrition, menstrual hygiene etc. The Society gets tremendous support from Max Super Specialty Hospita (Saket), Aakash Health Care (Dwarka), Aayushman Health Care (Dwarka) in these camps

EYE CHECK UP CAMPS

SDCES is regularly organising Free Eye Check up Camp for past 7 years with support of doctors team of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, Delhi & SSMI, in which free consultations, medicine were provided to patients & those who diagnosed with Glaucoma & other retina problems were get dates for the checkup at AIIMS, Delhi, itself in the Camp. More than 3500 peoples were get benefited from these camps and more than 500 peoples got successfully operated in AIIMS, Delhi which in result help them in their eye vision.

Objectives of the program

  • To enhance community awareness on eye care and lay stress on preventive measures; 
  • Develop and strengthen Eye Health and prevention of visual impairment like distribution of Free Spectacles; through provision of comprehensive eye care services and quality service delivery.

To reduce the blindness through identification and treatment of blind at primary, secondary and tertiary levels based on assessment of the overall burden of visual impairment in the country
